Data Engineer

Are you a data expert eager to optimize data infrastructure and generate valuable insights? Do you want to play a key role in shaping our data-driven strategy? At F2F.com, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to enhance our platform, ensure scalability, and maintain security and reliability.

‭About the role‬

As a Data Engineer at F2F.com, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and developing our data infrastructure and processes. You will work closely with various teams, including backend development, marketing, and product, ensuring that data is effectively leveraged to achieve our goals.

‭What you bring‬

● Managing and optimizing our data infrastructure on AWS
● Migrating the existing infrastructure to Terraform
● Cleaning up AWS accounts and optimizing the production environment
● Implementing real-time data streaming and live dashboards for monitoring
● Designing and building scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming,
and loading data from various sources
● Automating data processes using tools like Airflow
● Executing complex SQL queries and data transformations
● Developing dashboards and reports in QuickSight (or an alternative)
● Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
● Contributing to the development of a data governance framework and data
standards
● Working on projects such as user re-engagement, traffic optimization, and
A/B testing

Who are you?

● Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing
● Experience with AWS cloud services, including Redshift, S3, and DynamoDB
● Proficiency in Python and experience building data pipelines
● Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
● Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information
clearly

Bonus points for

● Experience with DBT, Airflow, and Terraform
● Knowledge of Docker and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
● Experience with data visualization tools
● Understanding of advanced statistical models and machine learning
techniques
